The Midwest District is one of 22 districts in the Evangelical Free Church of America. The EFCA is the sponsoring denomination of Trinity International University including its world-class seminary, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, both in Deerfield, Illinois.
The missions board for over 500 missionaries serving on over 52 mission fields is the Evangelical Free Church Mission. Please contact Gene and Gloria Van Den Bosch who serve as Church Missions Consultants in the Midwest District for EFCA missions information and assistance.
Our sister denomination, the Evangelical Free Church of Canada, is the sponsoring denomination of Trinity Western University in Langley, BC, and the Associated Canadian Theological Schools.

Dawn, or Discipling A Whole Nation, is a worldwide parachurch organization which promotes a vision and strategy to saturate every nation with the Gospel of Christ through church planting. Church planters and church planting churches and denominations will find the resources of Dynamic Church Planting International and Coachnet.org to be helpful. The Church Multiplication Training Center provides training and services for church planters, as well as church planting churches and organizations.

Sonlife Ministries offers a variety of training events and resources for churches that desire to make and multiply followers of Christ through effective ministries. Leadership Network also provides forums and resources for local church leadership. Church leaders desiring their congregations to be purpose-driven will find Pastors.com from the ministries of Pastor Rick Warren and Saddleback Church to be helpful. The Willowcreek Association, out of Pastor Bill Hybels' Willowcreek Church in South Barrington, Illinois, is a source for churches that desire to be seeker-sensitive or seeker-driven.
