Men's Leadership Team

Purpose Statement
The Midwest District Men's Leadership Team exists to provide an adventure that brings encouragement, challenges and opportunities for men to glorify God in their homes, their local church, and beyond.
Activities
The Men's Leadership Team was formed to expand the horizons of Men's Ministry in the Midwest District. Initially this will take on three forms:
Work Teams:
These teams would consist of men willing to invest their efforts on District Work Projects. Local churches that need manpower for a repair/ remodeling project; church plants that have building needs; disaster aid and cleanup. Ultimately we would like to partner with the Mexico Partnership and take a team to Mexico and actually build a church building.
Retreats:
The Midwest District Men's Fellowship has hosted a retreat annually at Aurora, Nebraska. We would like to expand and host retreats in the West and South regions of the district as well.
Training
The EFCA National Men's Ministry has developed leadership training material that is designed to train leaders in the local churches, as well as, organize your local men's ministry. This training is available in the District through local trainers.
Values
There are three core values that we intend to build into each of these three areas:
Fellowship
The opportunity to meet and work along side other men from across the district
Encouragement
The opportunity to learn firsthand how God is active and working in the lives of men in our district
Challenge
The opportunity to grow as God stretches your comfort zone. And to experience the satisfaction of using the skills and resources that God has given you to help others.
