Men's Ministry Trailer Project
I write this having just returned from District Conference in Kansas City. The offering received during the conference went towards equipping our first construction trailer that we will use to enhance our ability to do work projects across the district. You were very generous and I would like to report that we have paid off the trailer and are in the process of filling it with the tools and supplies necessary for a work project. In order to do this we are continuing the $150 dollar challenge. This challenge is to churches (and individuals) in the district to raise $150 dollars each, to go toward equipping this trailer.
That being said, there are many ways that your trailer can receive tools and equipment. The men from your church could raise funds for a specific piece of equipment and donate it to the trailer. Many of us have tools lying around that could be donated to the trailer. Retiring craftsmen might consider giving tools to the trailer to do kingdom work, long after their hands are able to use them. Please give serious consideration to this suggestion. We have several projects on the table where this trailer would really facilitate the work to be done, but right now it is mostly an empty box.
