Our theme for this year is
"Finding What's Worth Living for…"
Believing it to be Intimacy with the King and Passion for His Kingdom, our goal is to permeate the district with a vision to become women who are so in love with Jesus that it overflows in a passion for others to know Him. We long to see women in our churches living their every day moments in the experience of our amazing God. We long for them to find themselves influencing the world in powerful, yet very natural ways! Our plan is to host 6 or 7 one day retreats throughout the district where we can present a vision, offer information and experience to make it real, and then training and tools to make it happen. These retreats will take the place of our annual two night retreat in Aurora for this year.
Our kick off retreat is the "mini retreat" being hosted in the context of The Annual Conference on Friday, February 23rd from 11am - 3:30 pm. at First Free in Lincoln. ( See the conference brochure for registration) Our first Saturday retreat will be held in Columbus, NE at the Highland Park Church on Saturday, March 31st. Watch for a retreat date and location TBA in your area, or call and volunteer to host it!
